I'm back from PA...

So this is how the trip went...

We left MD about 10:30 Saturday morning..... GREAT!!!!

We got stuck in a lot of traffic going into the toll at the Fort McHenry Tunnel.....

Then before we could get to the MD/DE line....I had to cross this long HIGH flat bridge.....talk about anixety attack.....I HATE HIGH BRIDGES. It just seemed like the bridge was getting longer and longer the more I drove across it....

But no sooner than I could cross the bridge, I ran into miles and miles of traffic....there was a car accident on I-95.....finally got passed that...but the traffic on the opposite side of the freeway was STOPPED....people were hanging on on the side of the freeway...walking down I-95...the accident was pretty bad....I was just glad I wasn't on that side of the freeway....it was back up for at least seven (7) miles....

I got to DE and I got on I-495 but in the distance I could see a MASSIVE HUGH ASS BRIDGE....WTH....so I pulled over and I called my youngest child's father who is stationed in Willow Grove/Philly and I asked him, once I got on back on I-95 was I going to have to cross any bridges...and he was like I think so...blah blah blah....now mind you at the moment he and I aren't on the best of speaking terms....but I had to engage him into talking to me because I was not going to be going over any bridges....so he mapped it out for me....

So he directed me to I-476N to I-276E....hmmmmm....sounds easy right? Well by now the kids are tired...hungry...and I am so lost....because I got on I-276W...arrrrggggg... they are doing a lot of construction on the roads and the signs are VERY confusing.......I didn't know that until I stopped over at a McDonald's on the PA Turnpike....and looked at the navigation system in my truck...that is said I-276W.......so I got the kids some McD's (of which they did not have a $1 menu!!!!!) and I had to pay an extra $1.00 to get off the turnpike to just get back on. I-276E..... *rolling eyes*

I finally made it to Langehorne, PA where Sesame Place is...WITHOUT GOING OVER ANY MASSIVE HIGH BRIDGES!!!!! Yeah Yeah, it was the LOOOOONG way, but so what! What should have been a 2.5 hours drive turned into 4 almost 5 hours....because of the accident and my detour....

So, we get to the hotel, change into our swimsuits and head to the theme park...of which after being there for like 30 minutes....the clouds roll in, the temp drops....and there is a huge ass storm.... *rolling eyes again* All the kids got to do was get into the wave pools and get a face painting, before we had to leave.....

Got back to the hotel and decided to take the kids to the indoor pool....they seemed to like that....but when we got back to room and I took a nap....by the time I got up...I was sick.... arrrrrgggggggg....... I could barely move...but I managed to get them something to eat......I was so happy to finally rest....

(By the way...I got up at 12:30 as usually.....but this time I was able to go back to sleep...but I kept waking up.....and I didn't think the clock was right for some reason....time just seemed soooo sloooowwwww....)

This morning....my youngest child's father hopped over to have breakfast with us...damn I was gonna pay for him...but he's still in a snotty mood about the C/S that he was like "I'm not eating, I'll get something later." Um...but wasn't his purpose to come over and have breakfast with his daughter....maybe I'm missing something....but anyway....I was trying to be nice.....so me and the girls ate and then he and his daughter went for a walk.....

At that time...it was a little after 10am.....he left...thank God....he was making things so hard....I was trying to speak and be friendly.....but I guess being friendly wasn't the behavior of the day...well at least not with me.......I left Langehorne about 10:30am...and I was home by 12:45pm. I didn't get lost, traffic was moving... and even tho, I had to drive back across that long flat high bridge....it didn't seem as bad...... home never looked better.....
